MUD MAKE-UP LINE DEBUTS IN NIGERIA

Two sisters, Onyinye and Chinny Onwugbenu actually got the franchise of this product. They are both certified make-up artist having gone through an extensive training at the MUD Make up school in America.This is the first time this prestigious make-up line is coming to Africa. And in other to further push the product into the market, the MUD sisters, Onyinye and Chinny decided to partner with an actress that has achieved legendary status within the industry, Genevieve Nnaji. Known for her top quality films and extreme passion and dedication to her craft, Genevieve Nnaji has been at the top of her class for quite sometime now, and it made sense to partner up with someone of her caliber and status. She was chosen as the official face of MUD Nigeria. In a chat with Genevieve Nnaji, she opens up on why she accepted the offer even though it’s a very new product in the country. According to her, she said, “In everything I do, I try to be honest. I have tested and study the product for quite sometime now. Its very light on the face. For me, heavy make-up will make me look like a made-up child. But MUD is very natural and it enhances my physical attribute. Apart from its unique qualities, another thing that made me accept the offer is the fact that I am impressed with their courage. You know, they are young and have gone abroad to study, and decided to come back home to do something for their country. That I am proud of and I cannot do anything than to support them. I am very humble that I was chosen and I am going to do my best to be a good Ambassador”. No doubt, MUD is the next big thing that will happen to the Nigeria beauty industry.
