COUNTDOWN TO THE NIGERIA’S NEXT SUPER MODEL 2011

Eighteen finalists for this year’s Nigeria’s Next Super Model (NNSM) have been selected. The girls were selected at a press conference amidst the usual fun affair associated with the NNSM yearly screening. Held at the GET Arena, in Lagos on the 6th October, the 18 finalists were selected by a group of judges made up of high profile personalities in the fashion and beauty industry, as well as online votes from the members of the general public.
According to Joan Okorodudu, initiator of the Nigeria’s Nest Super model contest, although 18 girls were selected to go into the house, only 10 girls would appear in the final. She disclosed that the final 18 girls would be heading into the NNSM boot camp from where they will be reduced to 10 for the grand finale, billed to hold November 20, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos with the winner going home with a brand new car.
This year’s contest which is the 5th edition promises to be unique and interesting compared to the previous ones.
Some of the sponsors for this year’s contest are Vlisco, The First Group, Bank of Industry, Brand World, The One, Swaroski, Dark and Lovely amongst others.
