BISHOP OYEDEPO FLOATS N2 BILLION GOSHEN CITY IN ABUJA
Bishop Oyedepo, the founder of the fastest growing church, Winners Chapel has added another feather to his cap. He has completed a multibillion naira Abuja Goshen project named Goshen City. It’s a replica of Canaan land in Ota, Ogun State. Its comfortably lying atop over 560 acres of land, along Abuja-Keffi Road.
It was gathered that Goshen project commenced in 2008. And today, a 15,000 capacity sanctuary has been erected with other facilities like Convenant Printing Press, Heritage School and Faith Academy (the primary and secondary schools of Winners Chapel). Also, a mini housing estate has been put in place.
The project became necessary when their Abuja headquarters, Durumi, headed by the Bishop’s deputy, Bishop David Abioye, was becoming too small for the ever increasing congregation. And now, Goshen has become their new mission headquarters and the church has relocated there.
The 15,000- seater auditorium is fully ready with state-of-the-art facilities. The only thing left is the University but work is ongoing.
