Eke, an Economics graduate with a flair and passion for fashion.This was further developed at the London college of Fashion. She launched her label 3 years ago and her profile has been on the rise ever since. Remay designs are broad and cover all gender and age group types. She focuses on African prints which she blends with of silks, linens and jerseys to give it an added edge.
And this Ankara collection can be described as sophisticated and glamorous. It shows the designer’s love for luxurious fabrics and intricate embellishments while at the same time instilling her African heritage to produce timeless, feminine and effortlessly stylish pieces.
According to Ose, she gave a further insight into this collection, “I just wanted a little bit of African fabric mixed with international fabric, so they will have a few of our African culture. I used a mixture of different fabric, some I used the Jersey, Ankara, Lacey fabric, Chiffon, Linen. I love fabrics so I just play with them. I love colors and vibrant colors work well with me”
