TINUBU DEBUNKS STROKE TALE
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Leader of Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN), has denied being bedridden with partial stroke.
In an exclusive interview with Channels Television on Sunday night, February 12, 2012 from London, where he is presently hale and hearty. He said he left Nigeria for London on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, in company of Governor Raufu Aregbesola of Osun State.
He said prior to his leaving Nigeria, he was in Abuja, where he held meetings with some members of his party. From that voice that spoke with the Channels Television reporter, it did not appear he was suffering from stroke. The voice was sharp and strong.
For sometime now, particularly from the beginning of this year, there has been rumor of ill-health trailing Tinubu.
Through out January 2012, he was not in the country. The rumor had it then that he was in the United States of America recuperating. Some said he was there to take a long time deserving rest.
