JUSTIN BIEBER’S MUM TO RELEASE TELL-ALL MEMOIR
Justin Bieber’s mum, Pattie Mallette, will release a tell-all memoir which will reveal as-of-yet untold details about Bieber’s difficult childhood.
The autobiography, which will be called Nowhere But Up: The Story Of Justin Bieber’s Mom, will convey what life was like for Mallette as a single mother, as well as uncovering some Bieber family secrets, which include her battles with poverty, teenage pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse. The 36-year-old mum will also discuss what drove her to attempt suicide at the age of 17.
Speaking on why she decided to write the book, Mallette said: “I want them [Bieber’s fans] to see that no matter how desperate their circumstances may be, they can have hope for a better future.”
Justin Bieber is in full support of his mother’s book, and has penned its foreword.
The tome will be released by Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group, on 18 September 2012.
Revell’s editorial director, Jennifer Leep, said: “Pattie’s story is a powerful example of courage and determination that will inspire anyone who has faced struggles in her life.
“She’s living proof that even in the darkest of places there is always room for hope.'”
