Veteran broadcaster and former Nigeria’s
Ambassador to Ethiopia,
Chief Olusegun Olusola, has passed away. He died yesterday evening after a
brief illness.

Chief Olusola was the producer of the famous Village
Headmaster TV drama series and founder of the African Refugees Foundation.
He was 77 years old.

Sources close to him said Olusola died at about 6:30pm.
He died in his Lagos State home.
He was reported to have been ill for “some time but appeared to have been
slightly better before he died.”
It was learnt that he had a few close relatives around him when he breathed his
last.
Olusola is survived by his wife, Chief Mrs. Beatrice Fehintola Olusola, and
children.
His children are Ms. Aderonke Ajibulu-Moniya, Mr, Jimi Olusola III, Mrs.Toyin
Laditi, Mr. Sabitu Olusola, Mrs. Toyin Adejumo and Mr. Samuel Olusola.
