JEGA RETIRES FROM INEC
Professor Attahiru
Jega has retired as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission
(INEC) after five years in the saddle where he supervised two general elections
– 2011 and 2015. Jega formally bowed out yesterday June 30,2015 and handed over
to new Acting Chairman of INEC, Ambassador Ahmed Wali, who is a National
Commissioner at the commission.
