ALL HAIL QUEEN ELIZABETH II! SHE IS THE LONGEST REIGNING BRITISH MONARCH OF ALL TIME
Today, she is the longest reigning monarch in British history, and
that’s kind of a big deal. We’d think there would celebrations aplenty
in England to mark the 63-year occasion in the making, but her majesty
has reportedly banned any grand fêtes from taking place. The landmark
moment will still be a happy one for Queen Elizabeth, however, with
Prince William, Kate Middleton and their royal little ones Prince George
and Princess Charlotte making their annual visit to the monarch at
Balmoral, her Scottish home, sometime this month.
And the queen, who celebrated her 89th birthday in April, appears sharper than ever in her continuous parade of pastel skirt suits, chic sheath dresses and, of course, matching hats in all shapes and sizes.
