NIGERIAN CHILD COMEDIAN, EMMANUELLA, WINS NICKELODEON KIDS’ CHOICE AWARDS
Nigerian teen comedian, Emanuella Samuel, has won the award in the Favourite African Social Media Star category at the just ended Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice awards.
Emmanuella took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to disclose the information as she thanked the organisers of the award show as well as her fans.
She wrote, “Congratulations to me as I won the Favourite African Social Media Star category at the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2021. I am so happy to be a winner, thank you!”
Emanuella defeated fellow Nigerian comedy group, Ikorodu Bois, South African Magician, Wian Van Den Berg; Ugandan Youth Dance Group, Ghetto Kids, Kenyan social media sensation, Elsa Majimbo, and South African media personality, Bonang Matheba, to clinch the prestigious award.

However, Ikorodu Bois, despite losing to Emanuella, exhibited the spirit of showmanship as they took to their Twitter account to congratulate her.
They wrote, “Congratulations Emmanuela!!”
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is a yearly American children’s awards ceremony show, produced by Nickelodeon.
American actor, Kenan Thompson, hosted this year’s event.
