CLEMENT AKUOKO
Clement |
Clement is an
exception to the popular belief that an “only child” is usually a spoilt child.
He is an only child that carries the mentality of a regular lad. His principle
to life is “serve and respect people, then expect the same.” The 18-year-old
high school graduate is interested in nature, and good music. He’s an introvert
with good sense for music. He discovered
his singing talent at 9, when he tried to mime a song by Westlife. He has
recorded three songs, he says people often find it hard to believe he did the
songs because they are incredibly good songs. A lot of people
wish this lad from Ghana did not sustain the injury that confined him to the
wheel-chairs for weeks. Though he walks on crutches now, his determination is
enviable. He provided sufficient cover-up, in terms of vocal dexterity, for his
disability and roused the feeling of sympathy when he sang Michael Bolton’s
‘Back on My Feet Again’. Clement hopes to be the first Project Fame winner from Ghana.

Beautiful, sassy,
and friendly Ruky is a 23-year old who loves to sing, dance, read, and write.
Born in Abuja into a family of six, Ruky is currently on internship at a

up. Music, children, loving people, and a peaceful environment inspires her.
She fell in love with music before falling in love with singing. She was the
choir leader back in secondary school, and she has two recorded songs to her
credit. This lively lady is
indeed incredible, she never allowed herself to be intimidated by the demand of
each song. She is always on point. She has done so well and has never been on
probation. Ruky believes Project Fame will give her the opportunity to grow, and reach a wider audience.

Debbie |
At 22, Debbie seems
to have conquered the world when her peers are yet to find their footing. She
is an Abuja-based filmmaker and a creative artist. She’s free-spirited,
diplomatic and a no nonsense lady. Debbie grew up in Sierra Leone and having
survived the war with her family, she craves deeply for the power to stop chaos
in Nigeria and allow peace reign. One thing she cannot do without is her
guitar, which keeps her going in lonely times. Her inspirations are tied to
three things- nature, music and family while the most important things to her
are – family, God and herself.

DANIELLA OJI
Daniella |
23 year old
Daniella is a graduate of Crawford University,Lagos with a degree in
Accounting. Like most budding musicians, this Imo State beauty discovered music
was an integral part of her at a very young age when she sang at a birthday
party. Music means
everything to her; little wonder her major source of inspiration is good music,
and her definition of relaxation is having her ears plugged, listening to
music. Daniella has been
an ardent follower of the competition; she auditioned at age 17 in Season 1 at Enugu, and also
auditioned in Lagos this season but was advised to try the Wild Card; an advice
that paidoff eventually.

Having critically
observed trends from previous Seasons, she has learnt two vital lessons;
expression is key in every performance, and shouting is not the same as
singing. Armed with these two facts, Daniella strongly believes she has all it
takes to win the competition as she intends to express the message in every
performance as she moves on in the competition.

For Daniella,
winning the competition will be a dream come true. If she wins, she intends to
spend her winnings on the construction of her parents’ house and professionally
pursue music.
Having spent lesser
time in the academy than the rest of the contestants, a place in the final is
already a big leap for her.
