KATE HENSHAW, UTI NWACHUKWU TO HOST NATIVE AND VOGUE FASHION WEEK

Organizers of the
yearly Port Hacourt International Fashion Week have announced the readiness of
top fashion brands and models to partake in the second edition of the show
tagged 2014 Native & Vogue. It holds at the popular Presidential Hotel,
Port Hacourt between September 19 and 21.
Among the
international designers who will be showcasing their works at the three-day
event are South Africa’s premier fashion label, KLuK CGDT run by Malcolm Kluk
and Christian Gabriel Du Toit, Ade Bakare from the United Kingdm and Shaldom
Kopman, aka Naked Ape, also from South Africa.
Others are UK-based
Yemi Osunkoya of Kosibah Creations, Luis Jimi ‘De Laja from South Africa and
Nigeria’s Agbani Darego, Frank Osodi, Zizi Cardow, Yomi Casual, Amos Ejiro
Tafiri, Oluwagbon Oshinowo(Carpe Diem), Valentine Ejimakor(Dark Val) and
Princess Peaceful Owoghiri.
Uti Nwachukwu
The show which will
be hosted by popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw and BBA Season 5 winner,
Uti Nwachukwu, will also feature performances by 2face Idibia, Cobhams Asuquo,
Chidinma Ekile and K Cee.
Other celebrities,
whose attendance has also been confirmed, include Bryan Okwara, Alex Ekubo,
Denrele Edun, Eku Edewor, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Kenneth Okorie, Isio Wanogho and
Gbenro Ajibade.

Rivers State Government, the event is jointly organized by Neo Mantra, an
intellectual property development company, in partnership with Vanguard Allure
and Bunor Creazioni, a renowned Nigerian indigenous fashion design, consultancy
and model management firm headed by Frank Osodi.
