MISS INTERGLOBAL NIGERIA BEAUTY PAGEANT SET TO HOLD IN MAY
A pageant with goals beyond celebrating beauty is set to hold in May 2012. The Interglobal Nigeria beauty pageant takes place in Nigeria this year.
The lofty goals that organizers of this event are promoting include projecting the young Nigerian woman as a socially responsible member of society.
To this end, the 2012 Queen will be the spokesperson for the organization’s crusade to reduce Maternal Mortality; Teenage Pregnancy and Sexual Exploitation of young Nigerian women globally.

To this end, Miss Interglobal Nigeria will engage young women across the country in activities that will build their self esteem, self confidence, social awareness, as well as career-wise.
The Social Cause of the Queen’s Project is also aimed at helping members of the public accept former Victims and Survivors be seen as ‘First Class Citizens Only’ and treated accordingly. This will be done through various enlightenment campaigns.
Organizers reveal that their plan is to create an international platform that celebrates the beauty and essence of the Nigerian woman and gives her opportunity to fulfill her purpose.
This prestigious event will have all the frills and trappings of a world class event. Guests expected include Beauty queens, including reigning Miss Global International, former Miss Nigeria, key government officials at state and federal levels, and relevant states and federal agencies concerned with Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Human Trafficking. Others will include officials of relevant NGOs, fashion designers and icons; celebrities from film, music and sports who will all grace the Red Carpets and Main Events.
Special Awards like Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic shall be given to contestants, and the lucky Winner would be representing Nigeria at the world finals of 2012 Miss Global International in Kingston, Jamaica.
This beauty contest is exclusively for young Nigerian ladies between ages 16-26 years with a minimum of secondary school certificate, who have never had a child.
