AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, TYRA BANKS CHANNELS BREAK-UP ANGER INTO EMOTIONAL FILM SHOOT

In her role as the feisty presenter of America’s Next Top Model Tyra Banks is renowned for encouraging the contestants on the show to channel all their emotions into their poses.
The 38-year-old star, a successful model herself, even coined the term ‘smizing’ – meaning smiling with the eyes – to describe the way contestants should express themselves using their facial features on photo shoots.
And now, Tyra shows those contestants exactly what she means in a crazy short film shot by fashion photographer Marcus Gaab.
In the short flick, Tyra, made up with dramatic yellow eyeshadow and black eyeliner, strikes a series of outlandish poses, contorting her face and body and yelling and dancing in front of the lens.
And given that Tyra split from her banker boyfriend just last month, she may not have needed to dig too deep for the emotions that fuelled this particular shoot.
The star is said to have embarked upon a spiritual Eat, Pray Love-style trip to Bali after her three-year relationship with John Utendahl came to an end at the beginning of December.
With reports swirling that Utendahl had been spotted in a bar with a young Russian girl, Tyra’s convincing portrayal comes as no surprise.
Fixing the camera with her piercing eyes, Tyra screams ‘I hate you!’ and ‘I love you!’ with as much passion as she can muster.
Contestants wishing to make it big on the forthcoming series of America’s Next Top model should take note: This is how it’s done.
